SortRefer relaunches summer broker competition

Published on

SortRefer has confirmed the return of its summer initiative, ‘Show Us Your Merch’, following a positive response from brokers last year.

Now in its second year, the campaign encourages mortgage and protection brokers across the UK to share photos and videos featuring their SortRefer-branded merchandise in creative and humorous settings.

Whether it’s a quirky desk setup, an imaginative office display, or a holiday snap on the beach, the most original and far-flung entries will be in with a chance of winning.

The competition officially opens on Monday 4 August and will run throughout the month, with a possible extension into September depending on engagement levels.

Participants stand to win a luxury hamper worth £100, including an assortment of treats and exclusive SortRefer merchandise. Double entries will be awarded for submissions judged particularly original or those sent in from overseas.

The campaign aims to inject some energy into what is traditionally a quieter period for the mortgage market. Broker clients can take part by uploading their images or videos via the official entry link, and those in need of fresh merchandise are being encouraged to contact SortRefer in advance of the launch.

Kevin Tunnicliffe, chief executive of Sort Group, said: “Summer tends to be a quieter time across the industry, with many people away on holiday, so we wanted to create something fun, engaging, and rewarding for our broker clients. Last year’s campaign was a real hit, and we can’t wait to see where our merch travels to this summer. We’re looking forward to seeing all the creative entries!”

SortRefer was established in 2009 and forms part of Sort Group, alongside its sister company Sort Legal. Its digital platform offers a suite of services to support mortgage brokers and IFAs, helping to simplify the home move and remortgage process for clients. The company is known for its transparent fee structures and its focus on speed and cost-efficiency, continuing to raise service standards across the intermediary market.

A dedicated campaign landing page is set to go live soon at www.sortrefer.co.uk/marketing/show-us-your-merch-2025.
