Online conveyancing portal SortRefer has appointed Annabel Halhead to the role of operations manager.

Halhead spent the past nine years at Zibrant, an event management and venue find agencies, where she managed over 30 staff as operations manager.

SortRefer says it is on course to at least double its number of introducers this year.

Kevin Tunnicliffe, managing director of SortRefer, said: “Our business is booming with increasing numbers of new broker registrations and instructions running at record levels month by month.

“To maintain and improve our service still further we needed to ensure that the operational side of the business was in good hands and I am delighted that someone of Annabel’s experience and ability has agreed to join us.”

Halhead added: “I am delighted to be joining SortRefer, which is at the cutting edge of its industry sector and whose growth has been nothing short of dramatic.

“I look forward to working with the directors, staff, solicitor panel and of course our brokers to make the SortRefer proposition the very best in the industry.”
