SortRefer attains Silver Investors in People accreditation

Sort Group Ltd has been awarded Silver accreditation by Investors in People (IIP).

Sort Group is the parent company of online conveyancing platform SortRefer, in-house law firm Sort Legal and Agent Butler, the conveyancing and cross sales solution for estate agents.

IIP is the independent, not for profit company that helps organisations to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results.

SortRefer’s senior management and employees were questioned by an IIP assessor on current support provided to employees, focusing on the key areas of Leading, Supporting and Improving and were then encouraged to review the IIP feedback in order to reach a benchmark against which the business could incorporate improvements in these areas for future success.

Tracy Duggan, the IIP assessor, said: “This award is testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment to the business by the senior team and employees, which was apparent at assessment.”

Kevin Tunnicliffe (pictured), chief executive officer at Sort Group Ltd, added: “We have always worked hard to create a culture that values and invests in each and every member of staff. Taking part in the Investors in People assessment and consequent feedback has given us a clearer idea of what we are doing well and those areas we need to work on.

“We are all delighted with the Silver accreditation, which is a significant step up from the standard award that we received three years ago. We will continue to work towards Gold accreditation next time.”
