Smartr365 has announced the appointment of Stephen Nobes as head of network and club relationships.

Nobes (pictured) will be responsible for driving business growth and managing the company’s relationships with brokers and lenders.

He joins Smartr365 from IRESS and brings more than a decade of mortgage market experience. Prior to joining Smartr365, he was a key account manager at IRESS, before which he was digital community manager at MortgageGym.

Nobes has also worked as a business development manager at TSB Bank and started his career as a mortgage adviser.

Conor Murphy, CEO at Smartr365, said: “We want to make it simple and quick for brokers to provide mortgage and financial advice. We love brokers. They are a massive part of our industry and we want to make their lives as easy as possible.

“We know where the mortgage industry is heading and are excited that Stephen will help show brokers how Smartr365 can make their business more efficient productive and profitable – turning the application process from a matter of weeks into minutes.”

Nobes added: “Through my experience as a mortgage broker, MortgageGym and IRESS, I understand the friction points in the process and to me, Smartr365’s solution absolutely stood out from the crowd. It’s important that technology gives brokers what they need and as Smartr365 is built for brokers by brokers, this platform really is the way forward for the industry.

“There is nothing else quite like it and we want to help brokerages of all sizes, up and down the country, understand how it can completely transform their business.”
