Smart Money Loans (SML) is looking to recruit experienced relationship management and development managers in Southern England.

This follows its successful recruitment drive for staff working from SML’s Glasgow office.

Paul Crewe, managing director of SML, said the importance of personal face to face relationships with brokers has never been so important.

He said: “The market is beginning to recover and secured loans are at the forefront of the positive lending news for brokers and their clients.

“In Scotland a personal hands on presence has definitely enhanced our ability to not only get the secured loans message across to new brokers but has also meant we can build stronger relationships, which in turn has led to a greater number of enquiries and new business.

“With our head office in Chester, we are already well served here in the North of England, but the time has come where we feel the time is right to build a presence in the South and bring the Smart Money message to intermediaries though experienced and knowledgeable individuals who have already forged good links with the broker community.”
