Smart Money appoints national account manager

Specialist finance master broker Smart Money has announced the appointment of Gary Lomax as its latest national account manager.

Lomax (pictured) has over 20 years’ experience in the specialist finance sector, having worked as a mortgage advisor with Smart Money for the past 18 months.

Previously he was business development manager for Shawbrook Bank and prior to that he worked with Commercial First and Bradford & Bingley.

Working with Simon Nicholson the resident national account manager, Lomax will be responsible for increasing distribution and offering remote underwriting.

Paul Crewe from Smart Money said: “The recent growth of the business within Smart Money and the specialist lending sector in general has led to the development of the new role, Gary is one of the best account managers I have worked with over the last 10 years since Smart Money was established. 

“We are looking forward to pushing forward and adding to the success that Smart Money currently enjoys.”

Lomax added: “I am delighted to be on the road again working with existing and new introducers. I am looking forward to delivering Smart Money’s compelling proposition for intermediaries and their clients.

“Specialist finance is an effective way of ensuring the best customer outcomes and I look forward to taking this message to the market place.”
