Skipton for Intermediaries appoints telephone BDM

Published on

Skipton for Intermediaries has announced the appointment of Hannah Garside to its team of telephone business development managers (BDM).

Garside (pictured) joined the mutual in 2014 and began her career in the business development managers support team before moving into the resource team. She then trained and moved onto to becoming a mortgage adviser.

She said: “I am excited for this next step in my career within Skipton Building Society and I am really looking forward to getting to speak with brokers again, build up positive relationships and be a great support for them within the society.

“My career so far has allowed me to get a real understanding of brokers and how to build them lasting relationships which are key skills to have in this role.

“It is a strange time to be moving into a new role due to the challenges brought on by the pandemic, however my team have been very supportive, and it just shows how Skipton are focussed on investing and developing their people.”
