Skipton Financial Services features in Best Companies poll

Skipton Financial Services (SFS) is the best company to work for in North Yorkshire.

This was a finding of the latest Sunday Times 100 Best Companies To Work For list for 2011.

SFS was one of only four Yorkshire companies to feature in the list and the only one in North Yorkshire.

The whole of market financial advice subsidiary of Skipton Building Society is also the UK’s 71st best company to work for, according to the list.,

Since 2001, Best Companies and The Sunday Times have celebrated the best small, mid-size and big workplaces in the UK. SFS featured in the Best Mid-size Companies category – comprising companies with between 250 and 4,999 employees – the category which receives the most applicants.

Matthew Leach, technical and marketing director of Skipton Financial Services, said: “This is the first time that we have entered The Sunday Times Best Companies and we are delighted to have been placed 71st and the best in North Yorkshire
