SimplyBiz Mortgages launches Northern showcase

SimplyBiz Mortgages is to hold its final showcase for 2017 in Bolton.

Following events in the Midlands and the south earlier this year, this showcase, in association with One Family, will be taking place on 30 November at the Bolton Whites Hotel, Marcon Stadium in Bolton.

A lender panel debate will start the day featuring Esther Dijkstra, director of strategic partnership at Lloyds Banking Group; Jaedon Green, director of product and distribution at Leeds Building Society; Paul Darwin, director of intermediary relationships at Skipton Building Society and Charles McDowell, commercial director at Aldermore.

A series of seminars will also be taking place, covering subjects including:

  • Buy-to-let – Where next?
  • Demystifying the specialist market
  • Why equity release?
  • General insurance – getting the right policy

The event will be open to the whole of the intermediary market, irrespective of whether an adviser is directly authorised, an appointed representative or a SimplyBiz Group member. It will feature an exhibition of over 40 lenders and providers from across the industry including Pepper Money, Vida Homeloans, Together, One Family, Keystone, Uinsure and The Mortgage Trading Company.

Martin Reynolds (pictured), CEO of SimplyBiz Mortgages, said: “We have had great success with our Southern and Midlands Showcases this year and felt it would be perfect to finish the year with our inaugural Northern Showcase.

“The line-up of speakers and guests is first class, and all will be available to answer questions from delegates during the day. 2017 has been an interesting year for the mortgages industry and with 2018 sure to offer plenty new challenges, this event will enable intermediaries to prepare early.”
