SimplyBiz Group schedules 300+ events for 2016

SimplyBiz Group has announced its schedule of events for 2016, with over 300 expositions and conferences taking place across the UK.

In 2015, the compliance and business support firm hosted 280 events which were attended by over 12,500 delegates.

The programme begins tomorrow with five national conferences tackling key investment and fund management issues including research, due diligence and building value in an advisory practice.

In addition, a series of mortgage masterclasses have already commenced, with the first round of investment forums and learning and development workshops kicking off shortly.

Throughout the year there will also be series of events dedicated to protection, workplace solutions and professional development.

In addition, advisers can also attend business evolution and best practice events through the group’s not-for-profit division, the New Model Business Academy.

Rachel Lee, strategic relationships and events director of the SimplyBiz Group, said: “New technological and virtual innovations play a great part in the evolution of the financial services sector, however, we believe that face-to-face interaction continues to be the mainstay of our industry; whether that interaction is between advisers and clients, advisers coming together to share best practice or seeking advice and information directly through events.

“Last year’s feedback, combined with year-on-year growth of attendance figures, demonstrate that our events programme is hugely valued by our membership and, for as long as this is the case, we will continue to develop and expand our events programme, whilst many other service companies and networks pull back from providing this type of service.

“We have also broadened the number of webinars we will have on offer this year – as an addition to our events schedule, rather than a replacement for any of our face-to-face meetings.  SimplyBiz Group supports the firms who use our services in all areas of their businesses, and our events are a core component in providing this holistic support.”

All SimplyBiz Group’s events are accredited for CPD by CII and Ifs.
