SimplyBiz Group launches Vision for Mortgages site

Mortgage Market Review

The SimplyBiz Group has launched a new website for member firms to trade compliantly in the post-Mortgage Market Review (MMR) world.

Ahead of the implementation of the MMR in April, SimplyBiz Group has created a ‘Vision for Mortgages’ website providing members with focussed support in four key areas: disclosure; know your client, research and recommendation.

This site is the latest addition to SimplyBiz’ ‘Vision’ proposition, launched in 2013 to provide advisers with everything they need to conduct retail investment business post RDR.

Martin Reynolds, chief executive of SimplyBiz Mortgages, said: “RDR undeniably presented advisers with some challenges, however, it also gave them an opportunity to assess and amend their existing processes and documentation.

“I believe that the MMR will bring similar opportunities to advisers working in the mortgage and insurance arena. The launch of this site offers a central source for all the materials advisers will need to continue operating compliantly and successfully post implementation of the new regulations.

“We have witnessed a huge demand from mortgage advisers looking to access as much information as possible on how they will need to change their sales and back office processes in the ‘new world’. As part of our commitment to supporting advisers we are very proud to offer these vital facts and guidance through the Vision for Mortgages site.”
