Berkeley Alexander has been awarded SimplyBiz ‘GI Partner of the Year’ for the second year running.

The general insurance provider was awarded the accolade at the SimplyBiz Group Partnership Event on 10 April, as it overcame competition from 10 other insurance providers on the SimplyBiz Mortgages GI panel.

Alan Collinson, business development director at Berkeley Alexander, said: “We’re delighted to have once again been named Partner of the Year. It’s a fantastic endorsement of the work we’ve put into building a meaningful and rewarding partnership with SimplyBiz and its members.

“Achieving this accolade doesn’t mean we’ll be resting on our laurels however. It’ll spur us on to further initiatives, ensuring that we remain the provider best placed to deliver the products and services that advisers need, whilst at the same time generating valuable incremental revenue for their business.

“We’re grateful to Martin Reynolds, Sam Torbett, Makayla Everitt, and the entire SimplyBiz GI team for their visionary approach and the support they have continually provided. We’ve built a strong partnership for the future and a platform upon which we can drive further innovation in the GI market.”

Martin Reynolds, chief executive at SimplyBiz Mortgages, said: “Once again, it’s the nature, content, and energy of our partnership with Berkeley Alexander that has brought them this very well deserved award for the second year in a row. GI is an increasingly significant part of our business, and Berkeley Alexander has continued to show a refreshing desire in their efforts to support us as we seek to help our members and achieve our goals in this area.”
