Signature Private Finance hires BDM

Signature Private Finance has announced the appointment of Parminder Bansal as its new business development manager (BDM).

Banal (pictured) worked for Barclays Bank for more than 20 years, becoming a senior local business manager, supporting a portfolio of businesses and managing the associated lending book.

Signature CEO Bilal Ahmed said: “Recognised as one of the leading local business managers for the bank, Parminder’s appointment demonstrates our ability to attract people with the skills and expertise to enhance Signature’s growing reputation with property investors and finance brokers alike.

“Parminder’s arrival allows us to build on our current growth, with a range of competitive financial products designed for the challenges of the property market in 2016. We know our offering is attractive to the market and we just have to explain the benefits of our products to more people, more often to attract the new clients we want – something I expect Parminder to excel at.”

Bansal added: “I’m joining Signature Private Finance, at an exciting time. There will be a lot of changes in the property market this year, with an expectation that some less committed buy-to-let investors might sell-up, but that offers opportunities for the professionals.

“My primary role will be to manage and increase Signature’s relationships with brokers, investors and property developers, which will be challenging given the current economic climate, although our strong product portfolio will help significantly.

“Signature is a business built on a deep and genuine understanding of every aspect of property development, not just the figures in a balance sheet. And it’s good to be part of a business that works hard to find ways to lend, rather than reasons to disappoint property investors.”
