Signature appoints new relationship manager

Signature Property Finance has appointed Richard Winston as its relationship manager for the South East of England.

The short-term property finance provider says it is looking to grow its presence in the region.

With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, Winston (pictured, right) joins the growing team at Signature, after spells with HSBC, Santander and most recently Cynergy Bank, where he developed his relationship-building skills.

Michael Clifford (pictured, left), Signature’s commercial director, said: “Given our record growth in recent years, it’s important for the business to keep up this momentum. Bringing in driven, ambitious individuals like Richard will ensure we stay on track to deliver our long-term strategic goals.

“It is clear Richard understands the value of building strong client relationships, a core principle of Signature’s approach to lending. He knows the importance of taking ownership of each client’s application, guiding them from first contact through to completion.

“He has a proven ability to exceed targets and a strong focus on achieving the best possible outcome for every client. Whether it’s a simple bridging loan or a complex development deal, Richard’s determination to get deals over the line is reassuring.

“Richard brings experience and expertise in financial services that will enhance the service we provide to our clients.”

Winston added: “This is an exciting move for me at this point in my career and Signature feels like a natural fit for the way I like to structure deals.

“Signature is a growing business, with brokers, property developers and investors appreciating not just the quality of the finance products on offer, but the service that supports the efforts of its clients.

“I’m looking forward to introducing Signature’s offerings to my current network and new contacts across the South East, where market conditions continue to improve as we move into autumn, with the improving economic outlook supporting steady property price growth.”

Clifford said: “Richard is the latest of several appointments we expect to make as we expand our reach and ensure we have the right people in the right locations. Our goal is to deliver growth by supporting property investors and developers across England, Wales and Scotland, where we have relationship managers, who understand their local market.

“Richard clearly brings a wealth of knowledge in the South East property finance sector, and I’m confident he’ll help us achieve our commercial objectives while providing excellent service to new and existing contacts.”
