Members of Shawbrook Bank’s central customer operations team who handle commercial mortgage deals have been integrated into the commercial mortgages division and will now be know as the loan management team.

The lender says the change will provide a “more streamlined, comprehensive service” to its commercial mortgages clients, both pre and post-completion.

The bank-wide customer operations team is responsible for implementing many of the operational processes and policies necessary for the ongoing management of each client portfolio post-completion. The new commercial mortgages loan management team of seven includes three portfolio officers, two short-term loan officers, an administrator and a retention officer.

Laura Mortlock, customer operations manager, will oversee the loan management team as a manager within commercial mortgages.

Karen Bennett (pictured), sales and marketing director for commercial mortgages at Shawbrook Bank, said: “Shawbrook is committed to providing specialist expertise and a focus on outstanding service across all our bank-wide lending divisions.

“Integrating members of our customer operations team into the commercial mortgages business creates a more efficient structure designed to improve services for both our brokers and customers, and we look forward to the positive impact this will have.”
