Shawbrook Bank is to be a show sponsor at the NACFB Commercial Finance Expo on 26 June in Birmingham.

This is the second year running that Shawbrook will be a sponsor.

Shawbrook’s commercial mortgages team will be exhibiting at stand C01 alongside its Shawbrook Asset Finance colleagues.

The Commercial Finance Expo is the only show in the UK dedicated to the business finance community, and Shawbrook will join representatives of funders from across the business finance arena. The NACFB Annual Conference will also be held on the day and will feature key speakers from across the industry taking part in panel debates.

Stephen Johnson (pictured), managing director of commercial mortgages at Shawbrook, will be taking part in the ‘Who is filling the SME Funding Gap?’ event. Chaired by Paul Goodman, an NACFB director, the seminar will focus on a number of issues including how brokers can help the business community become aware of funding opportunities.

Johnson, said: “This show is incredibly important to us as a team. It’s a major event for the industry and gives us a valuable opportunity to catch up with many of our valued brokers as well as meeting new faces.

“Myself, Karen Bennett and the entire sales team will be there, so we look forward to catching up, sharing some of our plans and outlining our breadth of options for the coming year as we continue to work with brokers to complete the picture.”
