The Exeter has announced seven new appointments as part of a national expansion to further support its network of financial advisers.

These include a new head of proposition, four regional account managers and two product managers.

Aleks Gvozdenovic has joined the team as head of proposition to lead the Exeter’s product and proposition development, having previously held proposition roles at AIG, Friends Life and Bupa. Jack Southcott and Shaun Ware, who joins from Aviva, will also take on new roles as product managers.

Tim Smithers, Wendy Ellison, Juliette Meads and Adrian Thorley have been appointed as regional account managers covering London & the South-East, South-West, Northern England and the Midlands. They will help build a stronger and wider presence for The Exeter in the field, helping to facilitate and develop stronger relationships and support to advisers across the country.

Steve Bryan, director of distribution and marketing at the Exeter, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming these high-performing professionals to The Exeter’s growing team. We are committed to growing in these key areas of our business, and we are confident that all of our new colleagues will bring the precise skills and qualities needed to achieve this.

“With their long and impressive backgrounds in the mortgage and protection markets, these new appointments are well-positioned to further develop The Exeter’s excellent reputation in the adviser community.”
