Two new Northern Rock fixed rate exclusive mortgage products are now available to appointed representatives (ARs) of Sesame network.

The pair as as follows:

  • 3.59% fixed until 1 January 2015
  • 3.89% fixed until 1 January 2018

Both products are available for loans up to 75% loan to value for clients either looking to purchase a property or remortgage an existing one. The products include a free standard valuation fee and free legal fees for remortgages.

Robert McCoy, senior product and communications manager at Sesame, said: “We are grateful to Virgin Money for providing these products at a time when our advisers are revisiting those clients sitting on standard variable rates.

“These exclusive products are excellent additions for our members to show these clients how they can give them security in the knowledge that their mortgage payment will not increase over the two or five year period and may even be able to save them money over the fixed period. I expect the five year product to be extremely popular.”

Richard Tugwell, head of intermediaries at Virgin Money added: “These exclusive products provide additional choice to those customers seeking the certainty and security of fixed rates, rather than variable rates which could go up in the future.

“Our intermediary partners are at the heart of Virgin Money’s mortgage business, and we are therefore pleased to be able to offer these products through the Sesame network.”
