Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG) has announced a new national conference for mortgage advisers.

The one day event, which will be held on 1 July 2015, will include representation from over 40 lenders, insurers and support services providers. Delegates will also be able to meet the SBG mortgage team, as well as participate in lender seminars, and network with colleagues from across the UK.

Keynote speakers will discuss how advisers can further improve outcomes for their customers, along with how they can prepare and respond to important regulatory changes, such as the Consumer Credit Act and EU Mortgage Credit Directive.

John Cupis, managing director of mortgages at SBG, said: “As one of the UK’s largest distributors of mortgages, we want to ensure our members are well supported by our lender, insurer and ancillary service suppliers in order to help them grow their businesses further in the coming years. I am therefore delighted to be announcing the launch of our inaugural mortgage conference.

“It comes as our mortgage division continues to diversify its income streams, with strong contributions from protection, general insurance, mortgage processing and conveyancing. Our event in July will be one of the largest mortgage and related services conferences ever held in the UK for intermediaries. We will be sharing with advisers how important industry issues will affect them and how we can best support them and their customers.”
