Leeds Building Society has appointed Kim Rebecchi as sales and marketing director.

In her new role, she will have executive management responsibility for all the Society’s sales channels including its national branch network, direct operation, intermediary team, overseas operation and Leeds Financial Services, as well as the Society’s public relations, marketing and general insurance functions.

She will join the Society’s main Board, which currently consists of three executive directors and eight non-executive directors under the leadership of chairman Robin Smith.

Rebecchi joined the Society in 1988 and held a number of roles before becoming a general manager in 1997 and then director of sales in 2007, with her responsibilities extended to include marketing in 2009. She is also chairman and director of Leeds Financial Services Limited, the Society’s subsidiary company.
