Select & Protect joins Paradigm GI panel

Published on

Paradigm Mortgage Services has embarked upon a strategic partnership with Select & Protect whereby the insurer join its GI panel.

All member firms of the distributor can now access the full range of Select & Protect’s product range which combines standard home insurance through to non-standard risks, high net-worth and commercial, and is underwritten by brands such as Aviva, RSA, Groupama, First Assist, DAS and Lloyd’s Insurers.

Paradigm members have the choice to advise on general insurance themselves or refer the client by utilising Select & Protect’s introducer service.

“We constantly review our roster of provider partners to ensure we are giving our advisers best of class in terms of choice, products and service,” said Bob Hunt, chief executive of Paradigm Mortgage Services.

“Select & Protect has a long-established pedigree in helping advisers and their clients realise their general insurance needs and they are a perfect fit, not only with Paradigm, but with our existing preferred panel. Even advisers with no expertise in general insurance or desire to diversify can capitalise on this new partnership as Select & Protect offers an introducer service that advisers can refer clients on to.

“As such, this announcement represents a win-win for advisers – added value to the client relationship and potential additional income opportunities. We have long been advocates of advisers adding extra strings to their bow and partnerships like this mean they can do so without compromising focus on their core business. Looking ahead, we will continue to make sure that our existing providers are market-leading, that our panels are a fair representation of the market and we will look to establish new partnerships where necessary.”

Bruce Reid, managing director at Select & Protect, added: “We are pleased to be joining Paradigm’s General Insurance panel and see the partnership as a great opportunity for Select & Protect to demonstrate to both the distributor and adviser alike how selling home insurance can be an additional income stream to an adviser’s core business activity; this is crucial in today’s economic climate.

“Whether it is using our innovative and simple quotation and product platform, S2, or through referral into our qualified insurance sales team, we know that Select & Protect can add real value to the proposition that Paradigm’s advisers offer their clients across a range of general insurance products.

“Select & Protect look forward to working with all Paradigm’s adviser base and mirroring the service offered by the adviser in delivering a high-quality customer experience from new policy set-up through to claim and renewal.”
