Rents in Scotland are at their highest levels since 2008, Citylets has reported.
The latest quarterly data report from Citylets reveals that the average rent in the third quarter of 2011 now stands at £670, a 3.2% rise on the same period last year and the highest year-on-year figure since Scotland’s last rental boom in 2008.
Dan Cookson, senior analyst with Citylets, said: “There’s no doubt that the rental market in Scotland is continuing to perform exceptionally well. Demand for accommodation is still extremely high and there are more properties coming onto the market
