Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG) has teamed up with Aviva to provide real-time, up-to-date valuations on pension and investment products.

The Aviva Contract Enquiry Service is now available through the SBG Practice Management System, offering advisers coverage across Aviva bonds and pensions.

Contract Enquiry will be further extended later this year where assets held on the Aviva platform will be enabled for valuations, along with transaction history. All of the data available from Aviva will be automatically saved in the SBG Practice Management System.

James Stevenson, SBG’s head of adviser technology, said: “The ability to obtain accurate valuations from providers electronically and have these populate directly into fact find, review reports and suitability reports is a significant step in assisting advisers in the ongoing servicing of their customers.

“Over the next few months we will be extending the number of providers and platforms to ensure advisers have the widest possible coverage. The continuing development of the SBG Practice Management System is part of our commitment to help advisers drive greater business efficiency, while at the same time ensuring the right customer outcomes are being delivered and evidenced.”

Billy Burnside, head of platform development and e-commerce at Aviva UK Life, added: “Aviva is delighted to be the first provider to go live on the SBG Practice Management System with our new range of strategic messaging services. Advisers can now access policy and client data across an extensive range of Aviva’s investment bond and pension products.

“Extending our integration capability is supporting SBG’s strategy to drive efficiency and improved customer service for advisers.

“This is a really exciting development for Aviva and SBG, opening up the potential to deliver a technology proposition to advisers that will transform how they do business in the future.”
