Santander cuts first-time buyer rate

Santander is reducing the rate on an exclusive to first-time buyer product by 0.15%.

The four-year 85% LTV fix is now priced at 5.69%, down from 5.84%. It comes with a £495 fee, available with the Homebuyer Solution which offers a free basic mortgage valuation and £250 cash-back on completion.

Santander is also launching a new two year 75% LTV fix at 3.69% available exclusively to current account customers. It has a £495 fee and comes with either the Homebuyer or Remortgage Solution.
