Sandringham Financial Partners has announced the appointment of Tim Sargisson as CEO.

Sargisson (pictured) is the former CEO of IFG Financial Services and has held senior positions within the IFG Group, including managing director of James Hay Insurance Company and James Hay Wrap Managers, where he was responsible for some 32,000 SIPP and Wrap accounts and £13b of assets.

He will join Sandringham Financial Partners on 19 August.

Chairman, Barry Kayes, said: “Following our successful growth over the last three years, now is the ideal time to reinforce our overall management structure as we position the business for significant further growth.  In particular Tim’s appointment will enable Steve Braidford, as managing director, to concentrate on the key activity of partner recruitment and development.”

Sargisson said: “I believe Sandringham Financial Partners has built an excellent platform for its future growth and I am delighted to be joining the team at this important stage in its development.

“There are exciting opportunities ahead for our Partners, including the new pension freedoms and auto-enrolment, along with the continuing investment, pension and financial planning needs of today’s clients who are increasingly recognising the value of sound financial advice.

“I am looking forward to working closely with Steve Braidford and Tim Grey [compliance director], as together we enable Sandringham Financial Partners to benefit from these opportunities.”

Braidford added: “Tim brings with him a depth of corporate experience to enable Sandringham to develop from the firm foundation of over 125 Partners which we have established to date.  I am thrilled to welcome him to the business and very much look forward to being able to concentrate my energies on the recruitment and sales aspects of Sandringham Financial Partners, knowing that the back office and infrastructure are in good hands.”
