Saffron brings development finance range to Brickflow platform

Published on

Saffron for Intermediaries has entered into a strategic partnership with Brickflow, placing its end-to-end property development finance proposition onto the Brickflow sourcing platform.

The partnership follows the recent launch of Saffron’s pre-development bridging and exit bridging solutions, extending its ability to support developers from land acquisition through construction and on to exit.

Through Brickflow, brokers are now able to access and source Saffron’s full suite of property development finance products in a single location.

The move is intended to improve visibility of Saffron’s proposition while widening the range of options available when structuring more complex development cases.

TECHNOLOGY WITH EXPERTISE

The integration of Saffron’s development finance range into Brickflow’s digital sourcing platform is designed to help brokers identify appropriate funding solutions across different stages of a project more efficiently.

Brokers will continue to deal directly with Saffron’s specialist property development finance team alongside the platform-based sourcing process.

Saffron says this approach allows cases to progress in a more streamlined way from initial enquiry through to completion, while retaining the relationship-led support that underpins its approach to development and bridging lending.

SUPPORTING THE FULL DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE

The partnership enables brokers to structure funding solutions that cover pre-development, build and exit stages, combining Brickflow’s case assessment and sourcing functionality with Saffron’s flexible, case-by-case underwriting.

The two firms say this will help ensure funding solutions can adapt as projects evolve, rather than being treated as standalone transactions, and support a broad range of project types and developer profiles.

Lee Williams (pictured), national sales manager at Saffron for Intermediaries, said: “Partnering with Brickflow is an important step in increasing access to our end-to-end property development finance proposition.

“Being available on the platform improves visibility of our new pre-development and exit bridging solutions, while allowing us to maintain the specialist, relationship-led approach that brokers and developers value when navigating complex cases.”

Glenn Franklin-Jones, director of lender relations at Brickflow, added: “Saffron Building Society is a strong fit for Brickflow.

“Their hands-on, relationship-driven approach to development finance aligns closely with our commitment to helping brokers secure the right funding more efficiently for their clients.”
