RSA introduces new Mini Fleet product

Insurer RSA has unveils a new product created specifically for owners and operators of small business fleets.

The new Mini Fleet product covers companies with fleets of between two and 15 vehicles predominantly for business use and includes cars, vans, small trucks, trailers and forklifts.

Brokers can access this product via several e-trading platforms, including RSA’s new personalised system RSA Online. This allows them to obtain an instant quote, as well as bind cover for new business, process mid term adjustments and accept renewals all on one online system.

RSA is the first major insurer to launch a minifleet product via e-trading platforms.

The cover includes travel in other EU member states and tools in transit up to the value of £500.

David Greaves, SME trading director at RSA, said: “Transportation is key for small businesses and in the event of an accident our Mini Fleet product would get them back up and running as soon as possible.
