Right Mortgage & Protection Network holds equity release workshop

The Later Life Lending & Equity Release Network held a specialist workshop yesterday for those advising on, or wishing to enter the equity release and later life lending sector.

The event from the specialist equity release & later life lending arm of The Right Mortgage & Protection Network saw presentations and round table sessions from equity release and later life lenders, along with a bespoke lead generation session hosted by Canada Life.

Jo Wilson from L&G Home Finance said: “It’s great to participate in The Right Mortgage & Protection Network’s later life lending workshop, bringing together many experts in the later life lending space. Aimed at educating experienced advisers and those new to the industry about how we can help them help their clients in later life. It’s been a very well run, well attended and worthwhile event.”

The network welcomes all members to attend the workshops, to help educate advisers in this growing market and be introduced to a referral partner within the network or access the networks very own referral service.

Martin Wilson (pictured), CEO at The Right Mortgage said: “We understand our mortgage brokers have a growing bank of clients aged 55+. Our members find these workshops informative and helpful in developing their businesses with new income streams, and most importantly being able to offer their clients a suite of solutions.

We have already made a considerable investment in our equity release and later life lending proposition and will continue this investment to encourage our members to excel in this sector.”

The network says it is committed to growing its equity release arm by a further 40% by the end of the year. It is looking to achieve this by providing its members with the right tools and systems to grow their own businesses within the equity release market.

The next later life lending and equity release event is being held on 3 October in Birmingham.

Adam Stretton, managing director at The Right Mortgage, added: “Our bespoke lead generation sessions have become the main attraction of the workshops. Providing practical recommendations that our members can implement immediately.”
