Redwood strengthens North East presence with senior promotion

Published on

Redwood Bank has strengthened its position in the North East with the promotion of Jane Hand to regional development manager.

Hand (pictured), who has nearly 40 years’ experience in banking, has worked at Redwood as a branch manager, business development officer and most recently as a relationship manager supporting the bank’s top 50 customers.

Her time in both business development and relationship management roles has given her detailed knowledge of the bank’s operations and culture.

Known for her people-first approach, she said: “I’ve always believed that people buy from people. Rates matter, of course, but what sets Redwood apart is the personal touch, being accessible, responsive and tenacious when it comes to supporting our brokers and customers.”

In her new role, Hand will cover the North-East, providing tailored financial solutions and maintaining Redwood’s focus on service. “I want our brokers to feel confident that they can pick up the phone and get things moving,” she said.

“My goal is to be that dependable contact they know will get things done. This opportunity plays to my strengths. I enjoy working with people, finding solutions and helping brokers navigate complex deals – especially when a bespoke approach is needed.”

Andre Parcian, head of business development (Midlands, Wales and North East), added: “Jane’s promotion is a testament to the talent we’ve nurtured within Redwood. Her deep understanding of our customers, dedication to personal service and her ability to build strong relationships make her ideally suited to lead our presence in the North-East.

“I have every confidence she’ll make a real difference for the brokers and businesses we support in the region.”
