Record recruitment month for Stonebridge

Published on

Stonebridge Group has today revealed August 2019 was a record month for appointed representative (AR) recruitment into the business.

19 new advisers were added to the mortgage and insurance network with eight new partner firms joining the network.

Stonebridge also announced it is providing ongoing support to those existing members who wish to expand their businesses with new joiners. It said a key focus for the business was helping those firms who wanted to recruit new advisers in order to meet growing demand for advice.

Stonebridge also revealed month-on-month growth in gross lending recorded.

Rob Clifford (pictured), chief executive at Stonebridge Group, said: “It’s incredibly positive to see this growth in our adviser and partner firm numbers, especially as August was a record month for the network and our pipeline continues to grow. We have a very strong, experienced team working with advisers who want to join, either via existing firms, or as new members to the network and I would urge any adviser/firm considering their future to contact us to see how we can support their wants and needs.

“Our own ambitions for the business are all based on putting considerable resource into this area and ensuring that members have everything they would expect from a top-quality network be that regulatory protection, commercial support, great technology and a range of other services and opportunities.

“Part of our focus has been to offer the network and member firms access to greater levels of services and resources via our Nottingham head office – this includes IT, marketing and technology. The new additions to our senior management team ensures we can deliver on this.

“These are important times for advisers and any decision about their future needs to be seriously considered. We want advisers to know that in Stonebridge they have a Principal that can help grow their business and they can be completely confident they’re in very safe and capable hands.”
