Record month for conveyancer

Myhomemove has reported a record August, completing 3938 cases in just 22 working days, to break its own record for the most transactions ever completed in a single month.

Doug Crawford, CEO of myhomemove, said: “August has proved a phenomenal month for myhomemove, allowing us to break our own internal records and exceed everyone’s expectations.

“This outcome is a combination of the improving housing market, thanks in part to the Government’s Help to Buy and Funding for Lending schemes, and myhomemove’s ability to handle large case volumes with exceptional service and attention to detail.”

Last year the conveyancer helped almost 30,000 people to buy, sell or remortgage their homes; and until recently, its average monthly case completion rate was 2,500, peaking at 2910 cases completed in August 2012.

Crawford added: “In 12 months we have increased our completion rate by 35%*, thanks to the efforts and dedication of our exceptional teams of conveyancers and support staff. If anything, this increase in the demand for our services is a clear sign that confidence is returning to the housing market, and above all else, more people are choosing to use myhomemove over our competitors.

“I don’t know of any other firm that can carry the case volumes we can, and still deliver a service recommended by 9/10 of its clients.”

Over the next three years, myhomemove aims to treble its conveyancing volumes to complete circa 100,000 cases a year.
