Record apps for Safe&Secure

Safe&Secure Insurance, which specialises in selling general insurance products on behalf of Intermediaries, has reported record application volumes in September.

This follows previous growth in both registrations and repeat users.

Jason Berry , head of distribution and strategy at Safe&Secure Insurance Services, said it was a sign that brokers were fighting back against ‘meerkats’ and other comparison websites.

He said: “Intermediaries are increasingly gaining confidence with our proposition and recognising we can offer their customers a highly competitive alternative to website comparison sites. It is vital the close links brokers have with their customers is maximised to generate income they can keep and importantly close the door on competitors of all kinds.
