Crown Mortgage Management, which was acquired by Capita Asset Services in June of this year, is now known as Capita Mortgage Services.

Andrew Doyle, Capita Mortgage Services’ managing director, said: “As Capita Mortgage Services we retain all of the considerable knowledge we have built up over the years, while also drawing on resources offered by the Capita group. Both existing and potential clients will be reassured by the knowledge that their investments are being managed by a company with a solid foundation in the financial services sector.

“We are also able to draw upon the skill-set of the larger group, creating efficiencies and new opportunities for development.”

Robbie Hughes, debt and banking chief executive, Capita Asset Services, added: “Domestic mortgage administration is a relatively new market for Capita, which currently manages £129 billion of commercial loans.

“But I believe that the combined expertise of Capita and Crown will provide a compelling proposition both for traditional mortgage providers and new entrants to the market, particularly as we invest in infrastructure to support both existing and new mortgage administration.”
