Pure Retirement has added new regional intermediary sales support to lifetime mortgage advisers as part of its service offering.

The lifetime mortgage lender has added Rebecca Sumner to its team of telephone BDMs, where she’ll be responsible for serving advisers in the Central and East region.

She has 17 years of financial services experience, beginning as a mortgage adviser for an estate agent, which saw her obtain her CeMAP qualification, before embarking on a 14-year stint at Cavendish Equity Release as an adviser, where she became CeRER qualified.

Sumner said: “I’m excited to join a company that offers such amazing service through the product’s lifetime, from the brokers at the start to the client at completion. I aim to use my experience as an adviser to help the brokers in my area and facilitate strong relationships between advisers and lender.”

The latest addition to the team follows on from the recent appointment of Gary Dalton as field BDM for the North, who brings over 20 years’ of experience in financial services and a wealth of knowledge across several financial products.

Dalton said: “I love meeting and working with both existing and new advisers, collaboratively driving cross-industry synergies to achieve the best outcome for their clients whilst delivering a world-class service.”

Scott Burman, Pure’s head of distribution, added: “It’s no secret that we’re all living in an incredibly changeable world now, and that it’s more important than ever for later life consumers to be finding the right financial solution for their needs. This will undoubtedly be driven by great service from knowledgeable support being offered to advisers by lenders, and to this end, we’re thrilled to have added two such experienced and talented individuals to our team to truly enhance our offering.”
