Personal Touch Financial Services (PTFS) has merged its sales and marketing functions.

As a result, the head of commercial relationships role will no longer exist and so Neil Hoare will be leaving the business.

A new head of sales role has been created. Mark Hebberd has been appointed to this new role on an interim basis. His previous experience includes working for Aviva, during which time he ran several sales teams, national account teams and also sales training teams.

Vikki Jefferies is taking on the new role of mortgage proposition manager. She will be responsible for PTFS’s mortgage proposition, including buildings and contents and buy-to-let.

Snior protection manager, Charlotte Power, has taken on responsibility for PMI and ASU in addition to her protection development role.

Simon Hewitt will continue to be responsible for developing the firm’s wealth proposition.

Meanwhile, Jay Naylor has been promoted to a new role of senior marketing manager.

David Carrington, Personal Touch’s sales and marketing director, said: “I would like to thank Neil for the work he has done with members and providers alike, especially in the successful delivery of MMR to the network, and for his significant contribution to the strategic changes that the business has gone through in the past two years. We wish him success with his future career plans.

“In summary the changes, which take place immediately, will provide the business with a sharper sales focus whilst delivering a more integrated approach to supporting you with sales and marketing initiatives.”
