Prospector to show ‘near misses’

TrigoldCrystal has made changes to its Prospector AAA sourcing system.

Included in the latest version of the software will be new filters and a improvements to source for products using more specialist criteria. Intermediaries will be able to enter a borrowers’ working tax credits with the impact on income multiples automatically taken into account in the sourcing results. There will also be the ability to source buy-to-let deals that are applicable to HMO (houses with multiple occupancy).

A ‘Near Misses’ feature will allow users to see which products were narrowly missed from the source results. Using predetermined ‘tolerances’ (the default setting is 5%) the system will identify which products fall into this category. These tolerances can be set around loan to values, income or the term of the loan and products highlighted can be seen in a ‘near misses viewer’.
