Vida Homeloans has made changes to its senior management team to support its growth in the UK specialist mortgage market.

Mike Cook, who joined the lender in 2016, has been promoted to the position of commercial director.

In addition, Andy Middleton has been promoted to head of product and proposition, managing the development of Vida’s specialist mortgage product offering.  David Whitford has been promoted to head of intermediary support where he will be building and managing the telephone BDM team.

David Tweedy, chief executive officer of Belmont Green, Vida’s parent, said: “As Vida has now exceeded over £1bn in mortgage originations, we have taken the opportunity to make these changes to enable further growth in our business.

“Mike, Andy and David have done a great job over the past two and a half years and at Vida we are always delighted to be able to grow and appoint talent within the business.”
