PMS partners with Cirencester Friendly

PMS Mortgage Club, part of Sesame Bankhall Group, has boosted its protection offering with the addition of mutual society Cirencester Friendly as one of its partner firms.

The move gives PMS members access to Cirencester Friendly’s income protection products: Income Assured Enhanced and My Earnings Protected. The products cover up to 65% of a customer’s income should they become unable to work due to illness or injury. They are designed to be both affordable and inclusive, with no premium loading for smoking, occupation, or hazardous pursuits, and a wide range of deferred periods including split deferred.

The friendly society also offers added-value benefits to members outside of its products including year-round support, not just at point of claim.

The addition of Cirencester Friendly to the PMS protection offering means that its members can now choose protection products from 15 of the UK’s providers.

Stephanie Charman, strategic relationships director at Sesame Bankhall Group said: “With an excellent reputation for customer service and claims management, Cirencester Friendly brings over 130 years’ experience of offering protection cover, and we are delighted that PMS members will now have access to its products. Like them, we care passionately about the need for protection, particularly in these difficult economic times, and are committed to adding value to members.

“This partnership helps further enhance our offer, providing advisers and in turn their customers, with a greater choice of products and options available to suit their needs.”

Alan Waddington, distribution director at Cirencester Friendly, added: “At a time when so many people are facing uncertainty, we are delighted that the addition of our comprehensive income protection products to PMS helps us reach more people who want to protect their monthly pay. It is our goal to provide much needed protection and security to those that need it the most, and forging partnerships with respected organisations such as PMS helps to do exactly that.

“We look forward to building a strong and successful partnership with them.”
