Pivotal Growth has acquired Business Protection Solutions (UK) Limited (BPS), a Northern Ireland-based business protection insurance broker.

BPS offers a range of products, including shareholder protection insurance, key person insurance, relevant life plans, a full range of group private medical insurance and other products.

Pivotal Growth’s acquisition will allow the firm to expand its service offering in Northern Ireland and enter a new specialist market in the form of business protection broking, aligning with its commitment to delivering comprehensive and tailored financial services.

BPS’s experienced management team is led by managing director John McComiskey, who founded the business in 2010.

Simon Embley, CEO of Pivotal Growth, said: “We are excited to welcome BPS into the Pivotal Growth family. This acquisition significantly strengthens our proposition by adding a specialist business protection capability that complements our existing services. BPS’s strong expertise in the business protection space presents a unique opportunity to diversify and grow our portfolio.”

McComiskey added: “We’re thrilled to be joining Pivotal Growth. With Pivotal Growth’s backing and our shared vision for growth, we are confident that BPS will continue to thrive and expand its reach in the business protection sector.

“This partnership will enable us to better serve our clients and offer them a wider range of financial solutions.”
