Pink Network is is to host a new series of roadshows across the UK in order to help its brokers grow their businesses this year.

The meetings started on Thursday and will take place over the next two weeks.

The events will take place in six locations and will be hosted by Pink’s business development director and local regional sales directors; brokers will also receive a business update from Jon Round, group financial services director of LSL.

Protection providers including LV, Royal London, Vitality, Aviva and Friends Life will give presentations on how Pink brokers can continue to increase the amount of protection they offer their clients. They will also have an opportunity to discuss preparations for the Mortgage Credit Directive and what else brokers can expect this year with their lender partners.

Attendees will hear from a some of the network’s most successful brokers as part of Pink’s peer learning; these broker advocates will discuss best practice and the secrets to their success.

The business conferences will also offer brokers a insight into the current state of the marketplace, individual experiences and how to develop the necessary skills to grow their business in 2016 and beyond.

The kick off meetings are taking place in six locations around the country throughout the rest of January:

  • 13 January – Glasgow
  • 14 January – North Yorkshire
  • 19 January – Bristol
  • 20 January – West Midlands
  • 21 January – Manchester
  • 26 January – London

Toni Smith, Pink Network’s sales operations director, said: “This will be another great opportunity for brokers to hear from lenders and providers, and to network and share experiences with other brokers in their region.

“Our broker advocate events are always hugely popular and help every broker in the network to learn from each other and introduce best practice methods.”
