Perspective Financial Group has appointed Julie Hepworth as its new group regulatory manager.

Hepworth joins the consolidation vehicle for IFA firms with responsibility for the regulatory framework of the business and ensuring all group firms are are ready for the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) operating environment.

She has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry and joins Perspective from Paradigm Partners LLP where she worked as a business consultant to directly authorised firms of IFAs. Prior to this, she worked for Bradford & Bingley and as an IFA. She is a member of both The Compliance Institute and the Personal Finance Society.

She will report to group commercial director, Anthony Morrow.

Damian Keeling, managing director of Perspective Financial Group Ltd, said: “Julie’s appointment is the second addition to the Perspective team in quick succession following the appointment of Andrew Aldridge as our new marketing manager. We are only too fully aware of the new regulatory environment that is developing and we are fully supportive of the move to RDR-compliant businesses. Julie is on board to provide ongoing support to our growing number of Group firms in order to ensure they meet their responsibilities and are well-equipped to thrive in the new regulatory environment. Perspective will continue to grow the Group team to ensure our firms have all the expertise and experience they need not just to maintain compliance but to develop the products and services they provide in order to become more successful and profitable. I’m sure group firms and Perspective as a whole will immediately gain great benefit from Julie’s appointment.”””
