Perenna appoints industry veteran Steve Mannakee

Long-term fixed-rate mortgage lender Perenna has strengthened its distribution team with the appointment of Steve Mannakee as national account manager.

Mannakee (main picture) brings more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage sector to the role. He joins from West One Loans, where he was instrumental in building the lender’s first charge residential proposition.

Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade as head of sales at Aldermore Bank and previously held senior positions at Pepper Money UK.

In his new role, Mannakee will focus on deepening relationships with broker networks, mortgage clubs and key accounts.

TRAINING AND GUIDANCE

His remit includes delivering training and guidance to partners, supporting onboarding and championing Perenna’s proposition at industry events as the lender continues to build momentum in the long-term fixed-rate market.

Mannakee said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at Perenna, and I’m really excited about being an integral part of its ongoing development and growth.

“I’m looking forward to utilising my experience in the specialist lender space to help grow Perenna’s standing within the wider broker population nationally.”

The appointment comes as Perenna continues to expand its reach in the UK mortgage market,with its innovative long-term fixed-rate products designed to give borrowers certainty, flexibility and greater choice at a time of economic uncertainty.
