Pepper UK, the mortgage servicer formerly known as Oakwood Global Finance, has promoted Gerry McHugh to the role of chief operating officer (COO).

McHugh (pictured) joined the business in 2011, in the role of operations director at Oakwood.

He was responsible for overseeing the delivery of the company’s services to all clients.

Richard Klemmer, CEO of Pepper UK, said: “Gerry’s management of the operations area of our business over the last three years – a period that saw the company triple in size – has been exemplary.

“He is a vital component of our success story and will now take on an even higher profile within our business and with our clients.”

The COO role is newly created.
