Pepper Money has introduced an enhanced Free Legals service, covering the cost of legal work required on remortgage applications, including those for debt consolidation.

The enhanced service is managed by Optimus’ panel management services, which provide introducers with access to a select panel of pre-approved and regulated partners.

The Free Legal proposition now includes debt consolidation, irrespective of the number of debts to be repaid. In addition, the proposition is being supported by the distribution of a new broker and consumer facing guide. process.

The improvements safeguard service levels for both brokers and their customers. Providing remortgage customers the choice of either a free legals, or £350 cash back for all residential and DMP products.

Paul Adams (pictured), sales director at Pepper Money, said: “At Pepper Money, we’re here to help fulfil the ambitions of a wide variety of people with a diverse range of needs. Sometimes, this means lending a hand beyond the moment a mortgage application is approved and we are doing this through our enhanced Free Legals service.

“We have responded to feedback from customers and brokers to develop the proposition with the inclusion of remortgages for debt consolidation and a new system of monitoring our third-party partners to ensure the consistent delivery of an excellent service.

“For customers who have a less than perfect credit history, this means that we don’t just offer certainty of decision, but we also provide certainty for completing the process.”

Giuliano Grazioli, sales director at Optimus, added: “As a modern and adaptable panel management business, that serves various introducers across the UK, we take pride in our ability to continuously evolve and meet the needs of our partners and customers. By maintaining a selective panel of firms, we ensure that our partnerships are founded on quality, and reliability.

“We are delighted that Pepper Money is going the extra mile to support their customers, aligning with our own high standards. We are grateful for the trust and satisfaction of our partners, they motivate us to continue innovating and delivering excellent service together now and into the future.”
