Pepper Money has promoted Clare Jarvis to the position of head of intermediary distribution.

Jarvis (pictured) will have responsibility for national accounts, telephony sales, sales support and a team of regional development managers.

She will work closely with Paul Adams, who was recently appointed from Santander as Pepper’s new sales director.

With more than 20 years in financial services, Jarvis has experience working as an underwriter, broker and packager as well as senior sales roles at Santander, New Street and Accord, where she managed corporate accounts.

Bob Golden, chief commercial officer at Pepper Money, said: “2018 has seen a huge increase in our volumes over previous years and our business development team has done a fantastic job in generating and processing the mortgages to such a high standard.

“Clare has been instrumental to this success and I wish her every success in her new role as we continue our growth ambitions into 2019.”

Jarvis added: “At Pepper we have already helped thousands of brokers find a home for their interesting cases and our focus on intermediary distribution will continue into 2019 as we further grow our lending.

“This is a very exciting role at a lender with an incredibly exciting future, and I am looking forward to working more closely with our distribution partners and driving Pepper’s strategy through our experienced and talented sales team.”
