Penrith BS joins LMS Panel Link network

Published on

LMS has added Penrith Building Society to its Panel Link platform as the Cumbrian mutual moves to streamline its purchase and remortgage conveyancing processes.

The integration gives Penrith access to LMS’s network of vetted law firms, all assessed against strict security, quality and compliance standards.

Through Panel Link, the building society will also utilise LMS’s Secure Link and Charge Registration services.

MORE EFFICIENT

Secure Link is designed to speed up the post-offer stage by directing law firms to lender-approved responses to common queries and providing a secure channel when further clarification is needed.

Penrith will also use LMS’s Charge Registration service, which monitors updates directly from HM Land Registry and removes the need for law firms to manually chase progress, reducing delays at completion.

LMS said the partnership will support Penrith’s efforts to deliver a more efficient conveyancing experience for both homebuyers and remortgagers.

RISK REDUCTION

Suzanne O’Connor (main picture, inset), chief relationship officer at LMS, said: “As always, we are thrilled to be collaborating with another lender, bringing them on board our Panel Link service so that they can benefit from our extensive experience.

“Penrith Building Society offers accessible products to their customers, and we are happy to support them in delivering excellent customer choice and reducing risk in an ever-changing market.”

Zack Hocking, CEO at Penrith Building Society, added: “Although we’ve evolved over the years, we still keep our members at the heart of everything we do; by partnering with LMS, we can help speed up the conveyancing journey for customers, whether they’re buying or remortgaging.

“Additionally, by connecting with fully vetted law firms, we can continue to strengthen our reputation as being a Society that people can trust and have confidence in.”
