Paymentshield revamps sales leadership team

Published on

General insurance provider Paymentshield has promoted two member of staff to key sales leadership positions as it looks to drive growth.

Nasar Hussain is the firm’s new head of national accounts, managing national account managers and also responsible for developing the key and national accounts channel strategy.

He has been at the business for four years, with over 17 years working in financial services.

In addition, Dean Marson has been promoted to national account manager and will work alongside Paymentshield’s mortgage network and club partners. Marson has worked in sales at Paymentshield for almost a decade.

The pair are also tasking with supporting partners in utilising Paymentshield’s Refer and Protect proposition.

Third-party support

The revamped national accounts team will work alongside Paymentshield’s recently appointed partnership managers, who are supporting third parties looking to introduce a home insurance offering for their customers via an embedded or co-branded digital solution.

Emma Green, director of distribution at Paymentshield, said: “It’s brilliant to see two of Paymentshield’s own step up to more senior roles, as we look to advance our proposition amidst changing market conditions.

“Nasar and Dean’s promotions are well-deserved recognition of their hard work and contributions to Paymentshield. I’m sure that their expertise and dedication will prove invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve our business.

“These appointments will deliver increased bandwidth that enable myself and the rest of the sales team to introduce new offerings to the intermediary market, at a time when the value of advice for customers is at an all-time high.”
