Paymentshield expands home insurance panel

Published on

Paymentshield has appointed ABC Insurance, part of LV= Broker, to its home insurance panel.

Launched in 2007, LV= Broker’s ABC Insurance currently holds relationships with over 1,700 brokers across the country.

Michael Lawrence, personal lines director at LV= Broker, said: “Joining the Paymentshield home insurance panel demonstrates our ambitious growth plans, making our home product available to even more intermediaries.

“We’re committed to developing valuable and beneficial partnerships and with excellent distribution through its network of IFAs, we look forward to a successful and longstanding commercial relationship with Paymentshield.”

LV= Broker joins the panel alongside others including Ageas, Allianz, Aviva, AXA, Legal & General, RSA, Towergate and Zurich.

Amanda Fox (pictured), Paymentshield’s insurer relations and proposition director, said: “The announcement of LV= Broker’s ABC Insurance joining our panel enhances our reputation and should give advisers even more confidence in the quality of the products they provide to their clients. It also offers Paymentshield a competitive edge.

“Paymentshield’s ability to attract industry heavyweights to its panel demonstrates its gravitas within the market and is something we can be extremely proud of.

“Paymentshield’s determination to create an unrivalled panel of insurers gives advisors a wealth of choice to pass on to their clients via its ‘aggregator style’ results screen. This means that they’re able to make an informed decision on their cover that’s based on brand preference, not just price.”
