Paymentshield adds to senior management team

Towergate Insurance has appointed Lee Mooney to the new role of product, marketing and proposition director for Paymentshield.

Mooney (pictured) has held a range of senior positions at Tesco Personal Finance, RSA and MORE TH>N. His background includes driving new business launches, product innovation, marketing effectiveness and transformational change.

He joins Paymentshield from The Co-operative where he was commercial director for the general insurance division.

Gary Duggan CEO of Paymentshield, said: “Lee is experienced in driving performance and has a proven track record in delivering success. We look forward to him adding significant strength to our senior management team.

“His extensive knowledge of working with big financial brands on their product and marketing strategies will prove invaluable in his new role here at Paymentshield, as we develop our proposition to further accelerate our growth within the industry.”

Mooney added: “I’m looking forward to working with Gary and the team at Paymentshield in this exciting and challenging new role to help take the business to its next stage of development and to further build on its strong history of success.”
