Paymentshield has bolstered its home insurance panel with the addition of two insurers: Ageas UK and Tradex.

The pair join AXA, Allianz and Integra on the general insurance solutions provider’s home insurance panel.

Ageas UK provides personal lines insurance to over four million customers in the UK. Its claims service is operated in the UK and provides a 24/7 emergency helpline for customers.

Tradex’s home insurance policies are underwritten through Markerstudy Insurance Services, one of the UK’s largest Managing General Agents.

Joe Bishop (pictured), head of insurer relations at Paymentshield, said: “We’ve been working hard to preserve the robustness of our home insurance panel during a time of market volatility that has seen several insurers withdraw from the personal lines market.

“The strength and depth of our panel makes it easier for advisers to offer a home insurance quote to every customer, supporting in our ultimate mission to ensure every home is properly protected.

“Every insurer on our panel has to meet our carefully considered criteria, so advisers can rest assured that their customers will receive a brilliant experience if they do ever need to make a claim.

“Ageas UK and Tradex are large insurers with a strong understanding of the market and a wealth of claims knowledge and experience behind them.”
